• Best for use in cockpits that have a significant slope to them, or any place grating would be used that requires a great deal of support.
• Add a touch of tradition to your boat and build your own cockpit grate.
• The notched grating material comes in three thicknesses/cutout sizes and corresponding flat grate strips.
• You can build your grate two ways:
• 1) Using notched strips in both directions
• 2) Using notched strips in one direction on the bottom layer and flat strips in the other direction on the top layer. (This allows water to drain underneath grates that are installed on flat surfaces.)
